The Email Inbox

The Atarim Email Inbox is a fantastic feature that lets you turn any emails from your clients into tasks in your Dashboard, even if they prefer to use email. This way, you can keep track of everything in one place!

You can use your Atarim inbox to:

  • Send and receive emails
  • Create canned responses
  • Set up notifications for your projects

..all from one place, easily accessible through your Atarim Dashboard. It is perfect for keeping track of everything without having to switch between platforms or tools, stopping emails that your clients are sending you from ending up in your personal email inbox (or that of any of your team members).

By giving clients the email address that you set inside your settings, all comments left on collaborative projects will create tasks inside your email inbox.

You can configure your email inbox by navigating to Settings > Email & Notifications in your Atarim dashboard.

Let’s take a look at some of the settings you’ll find on this page.

Email Settings

From Name

This is where you choose the name that will appear as the sender of your emails. You can use your own name or your agency name, depending on how you want to present yourself to your clients.

Inbox Email Address

This is where you specify the email address that will be used as the sender of your emails. This is also the email address that will receive the replies from the email tasks that you create.

Email Setup

This section allows you to configure your email communication with Atarim. Let’s take a look at each setting available.

Forwarding Address

This is where you set up the email address that will forward all the emails sent to your inbox email address to your Atarim account. This allows you to manage your email communication entirely from within the platform. This step requires domain authentication, which you can learn more about by reading our article: verifying domains on Atarim.

Verifying Forwarding

Once you’ve configured the forwarding, you can use the “Verify Forwarding” button to check your settings.

Once you click the button, an email will be sent to the inbox address you set up, which will let you know that you’re good to go!
